For our client, an innovative, international company, we are looking for a:
Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
Our customer is going to set up a completely new data platform based on Microsoft SQL 2016 Enterprise with the business intelligence tool Suite available there, supplemented with Power BI and Azure. You will have the unique opportunity, together with a small team of internal employees and external consultants, to build the platform ‘from scratch’ and to provide it with data from our Oracle and Microsoft source systems. You will use the data to create reports and online dashboards. You do this for and in consultation with our business stakeholders from all national and international departments. The current BI environment is based on SAP Business Objects and Crystal Reports. You will also work on this regularly because changes to existing reports are still being requested.
Besides that you will be in technology a lot, you will also talk to business customers to discuss their wishes in the field of data analyses, reports and dashboards. There you help them to come to the best solution. You will work in a small enthusiastic BI team (under construction). You will work in the IT department, with about 35 other colleagues.

Do you have a completed HBO or WO education and a number of years of relevant work experience.
You have thorough knowledge of BI platforms, solutions and software architectures. You are able to think along with improvements in the chosen solutions.
Do you have experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI? Knowledge of Oracle is an advantage.

You preferably have experience with Power BI and SAP Business Objects.
Do you have knowledge and experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum?
You have good communicative and contact skills with a flexible and goal-oriented attitude.
Are you result-oriented, customer-oriented and have a hands-on mentality?
